My work, training, and education
Many single parents find it difficult to find work that fits with family life and pays enough to meet the costs of childcare and transport. That sort of juggling makes it difficult to get qualifications too. If you’ve been out of work for a while, it can be hard to get back into it again. You can find out more about work, training and education from our Advice and Information Service.
This section is to help you think about what sort of work might be possible for you now or in the future, and how to get there by taking it a step at a time.
